Plain to self-raising flour…

Not only am I converting cups to grams but I’m also trying to replace self-raising flour with plain.  Not as straightforward as I had hoped.  After a lot of research I’m adding 1tsp baking powder to 180g plain flour to recreate self-raising.  However as the recipe uses gluten and wheat free flour I’m also adding 1/4tsp xanthan gum for stability and improved texture.  Will post later with results.  Amanda
