Roses grow on you – Part 2…
Photos from the weekend as promised. Firstly congratulations to my clients for reaching their Golden Wedding Anniversary, what an achievement! I started on Thursday by making 80 gold roses, thinking that one per cupcake would be perfect but then, late on Friday(!) I decided that three per cake would look better! So, to the sound of my son telling me I didn’t have the time to do another 160 I carried on – late into the night. Of course I did get them all done and they looked fantastic – tiny little roses, all slightly different. I ended up placing just two per rose but I’d rather have too many than not enough. They looked stunning on the cakestand. A sprinkling of gold dragees and a touch of glitter to finish them off.
